এক দিন রাজা আহাব নাবোতকে বললেন, “আমাকে তোমার ক্ষেতটা দিয়ে দাও, আমি সব্জির বাগান করবো| তোমার ক্ষেতটা আমার রাজপ্রাসাদের কাছে| আমি তোমাকে এর বদলে আরো ভাল দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেত দেব| কিংবা তুমি যদি চাও আমি ক্ষেতটা কিনেও নিতে পারি|”

And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.
